About Me
My name is Mirna Gonzalez and I am a future high school science teacher. I graduated from UT in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I am obtaining my teaching certification through the UTeach Natural Sciences program which prepares high school math and science teachers. Currently I am working on finishing my apprentice teaching semester at Westwood High School where I teach two pre-AP biology classes. My certification area is Composite Science 7-12 which includes chemistry, biology, physics, and earth sciences.

UTeach Maker
In addition to my UTeach certification I am also working towards a Maker endorsement through UTeach Maker. This program helps prepare future STEM teachers, who are enrolled in the UTeach program, to incorporate the Maker Movement into their classroom. This website is serves as my showcase where I can share everything I have learned going through this program.
